Freddie Dickson is a British singer-songwriter based in Berlin, known for his cinematic indie pop sound and haunting vocals. Blending introspective lyrics with atmospheric production, his music explores themes of anxiety, identity, and human connection.

Emerging from the London music scene, Freddie's song Shut Us Down caught the attention of Lily Allen, leading to a deal with Columbia Records. After two and a half years, the two parted ways and Freddie embarked on a new chapter as an independent artist.

In 2017, he released his debut album, Panic Town, combining his classic singer-songwriter roots with a darker, grungier sound. A sold-out London headline show marked his transition from major-label artist to independent musician, embracing a more uncompromising creative path. It also signalled the end of his London chapter as he set his sights on a new musical landscape.

The following year, Freddie relocated to Berlin after first connecting with the city through touring and a desire for the unknown. Signing with Zart Agency (Sam Fender, Ben Howard), he immersed himself in Berlin's eclectic music scene while building a reputation as both an artist and songwriter. His second album, Blood Street, was released to critical acclaim and led to his first headline tour across Germany, alongside support slots with Madison Cunningham, Rhodes and Glasvegas.

Following Blood Street and the uncertainty of a rapidly changing world, Freddie began work on his Idiot's Dream EP, recording and producing four songs with his band across various Berlin studios. Inspired by the city's nightlife and the challenges of starting over in a new place, the EP captures both the excitement and isolation of life in Berlin.

Alongside his solo career, Freddie has established himself as an in-demand songwriter. Signed to Phrased Differently, his recent credits include Illenium's Refuge (ft. Norma Jean Martine) on the Billboard No. 1 Top Dance Albums Odyssey, as well as releases with Tokio Hotel and Ely Oaks.

Freddie has completed his third studio album—his boldest and most outspoken work to date, exploring themes of anxiety, self-doubt and the pressures of the modern music industry. The record marks a new chapter in his evolution as both a songwriter and artist. His latest single Exit Game is out now.
